Your voice is the most important of dog traing aids when training your dog. Use of your dog’s name is probably the next most important of the dog training aids at your disposal. Thirdly, a pleasant, persuasive tone of voice is a must.
Talk constantly to your dog when dog training. When training your dog to retrieve, you’ll need to persuade him to take an item from you. Great dog training aids for this are very light dumbbells. As soon as your dog starts to take the dumbbell, immediately praise him with a happy and excited voice. And don’t forget to pet him as well.
Always keep a happy tone with your dog when training. Becoming angry will never assist in your training efforts. It will only serve to confuse your dog and make him anxious.

Dogs are the most loved and faithful pets, occupying an important place in peopleâs lives and families. Humans enjoy having dogs around them, regardless of the reason that they have a dog for: protection or companionship. Due to the fact that they are excellent friends, dogs deserve to be properly taken care of.
Most people decide to train their dogs from an early age in order to make sure that the pets wonât cause them any problems. Some dog owners choose to go to a dog trainer who knows his business while others prefer dog training collars. Remote dog training collars, Small dog training collars and electronic dog training collars are only some of the types of training collars that you can choose from.
Remote dog training collars seem to have created several misconceptions and as a consequence people have hesitations when using them. Some people believe that these training collars are cruel and inefficient devices, but this is not true at all. Remote dog training collars are very efficient and easy to use, being very efficient training devices. The electric stimulation that is applied by the collar is not hurtful and painful, as many people believe. The purpose of this collar is not to torture the dog, but to manage to communicate with him.

Dogs are actually really clean animals. They won’t soil close to where they eat, or where they sleep. The thing is, a house is a completely different story. Living in a house is unnatural for an animal whose instincts would be to roam wherever she wants to go, so this part of animal behavior needs to be tailored to living in a home.
The sooner you can train your dog or puppy proper potty expectations the better. Trying to break the habit of a dog is quite difficult and it can be very frustrating. You need to use guidance and encouragement to help the pet. Animal behaviorists have some helpful tips that you can use to help with the housebreaking of your pet.
Believe it or not, dogs are sanitary creatures. If a dog does soil accidentally in the wrong place, it is likely that it will be far from his dog dish, at least six to ten feet. This is true for the place where the dog sleeps as well. But, unless you find a good place for her to go and train her in that manner, the rest of your house is okay to them.

It’s a ball on an elastic string, with a wrist strap. Only for use with supervision. My dog has lots of energy (Cocker spaniel – 7 months) and I was just wondering if this game was fair on him as I thought it might torment him a bit that i’d throw the ball and it’d seemingly “disappear” because it was bouncing back to me?
Have you used a toy like this before and what do you think of it? Is it a good idea?

This is such a common problem and sometimes quite entertaining, especially if you see a youngster being pulled along by a strong dog. Or even a grown up being pulled for that matter. But you love walking your dog and it’s really not a joke if he won’t listen to your commands. To stop your dog from pulling on the leash you need to know a few tricks.
Why they pull on their leashes is because they actually can walk faster than we can and they just can’t wait up. There basic instinct kicks in to chase when they see other animals or pick up strong scents. It’s natural and we have to just work around it.
Naturally it’s best to start with your training when he’s still a puppy, but if this is not possible you can teach an old dog new tricks. A word of advise, it’s better for the dog’s health if you don’t use a choke collar. They are known to cause damage to the throat and vocal cords.
