Looking For A Dog Toy?

I couple of months ago I found a dog toy in the LTD Commodities catalog. It was a white ball with black paw prints all over it – when you turn it on it zooms around the room. I procrastinated and now it is sold out. Does anybody know where I can find a toy like this? I have a very active pooch and during the winter months I need him to get as much exercise as possible since we can’t take walks. I would also like a break from playing fetch every waking moment :) Thanks for your help!

Understanding Why Your Pooch Chews And Controlling The Behavior

Puppies chew as a way to explore and relate to the world around them. The activity is instinctive to them. Unfortunately, if chewing behavior is focused in the wrong direction, it can result in damaged clothes, shoes, and furniture.

It’s important to realize that adult dogs also chew, but do so for a variety of reasons that extend further than mere exploration. For example, your pooch might feel separation anxiety if you leave him alone for long periods. Or, he might be bored. This happens often when canines lack an outlet through which to expend their pent-up energy. Your pooch may also chew on your belongings as a way to get your attention.

Whatever the reasons for the destructive behavior, you can control the problem. Below, we’ll provide a few tips for training your dog to avoid chewing on your possessions.

Identify This Dog Toy!?

It is shaped like a genie bottle and comes in a few different sizes. The ones I have seen have been light pastel colors. There is a hole in the top and the size for treats and the person I spoke to about it says it is a similar concept to a kong but harder for the dog to solve. I saw this at two premium pet stores in Ohio (on a trip) but can’t remember the name of the toy or the stores. If anyone knows what I am talking about please give me the name of the toy so I can try to find it online! Thanks!!

How To Deal With An Aggressive Dog

When you have an aggressive dog and children it is a recipe for disaster. If you are noticing that you dog is aggressive you have a couple options that are available to you for handling it.

The first option presented to you would be to just say goodbye to your dog (not necessarily the best option). Many people love their dog’s and treat them as part of the family and would never even consider this option but for others it is the way they go.

If you do choose to get rid of your dog make sure you take him somewhere safe. Never just let a dog go especially if they are aggressive. Dogs are no longer breed to be wild animals so they would be truly unsafe out on their own.

Where Can I Find This Dog Toy Or Something Like It?

My dog’s favorite toy in the world is a figure-eight rope tuggy with a mini basketball strung on the rope at one end (or some other kind–they’re all the same toy with different colors and decoration). She loves them. Unfortunately, they have the nasty habit of getting stuck in trees. We used to buy them at Meijer, the midwestern grocery chain, but I haven’t seen any the last few times I went.
I’ve visited two different locations, two other pet stores, and Meijer’s website, but nobody has quite what I’m looking for. Either the ball is soft rubber, which she’ll devour, or the toy is too small for her (she’s on the small side of medium, 23 pounds and sixteen inches tall at the shoulder), or the toy is just a ball on a rope with a handle at one end, or the figure-eight rope tuggy doesn’t have a ball.
All I’m looking for is a figure-eight tugger toy that has what’s pretty much a kids’ miniature ball on one side of it. Does anyone know where I could find something like that?

breadmaking at home

I like the Australian terrier, the Norwich & Norfolk terrier, the border terrier, tibetan spaniel and papillon. I cant decide which one to get! I want on that has minimal health problems and one that will get along with a cat and rabbit.
