As I pulled into the driveway, he grabs the stuffed bear in his mouth and stands in front of the gate waving his tail. Why is that?

I got it when I was a little kid when Cat-Dog still came on tv it is like a plush of it would it be a collectible toy? it’s in good condtion

from 30s or 40s or 50s – starts with kids burning a toy boat with a toy dog at captains feet, end of movie the now grown up adult dies in foreign legion and his brother puts his lousy commanders body at his feet

My dog(toy fox terrier) lately seems to hurt his snout when kenneled up. He never did this in the past and he actually cuts his snout with little bit of blood showing. Does he have separation anxiety?

The Toy Dog On My Head – Where Is It From?

http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j67/be…
does anybody know what this toy dog is? I’ve had it since I was 6 (1989) and the tags have long since faded & come off. I am interested to know if anyone has one similar, or knows what character or brand this is.

Windows Mobile smartphones

My sister had this toy dog back when we were kids (’95-’98) and it had a hole in it’s belly that was held closed with Velcro, but when you pried it open, you would find puppies (smaller versions of the mom).
The dog was long, and usually had odd color fur (purple or pink), and long white hair for it’s tail and head. It was NOT pound puppies, although, I suppose it could have been some version of pound puppies and I didn’t know it. If anyone can give me a ANY ideas as to what this toy was called I will be very thankful.

Instinct!
Its a very strong urge and at best it can be controled with training but if its bred in there your not going to be able to control it.
However you can control the situation to some degree. Long leash while walking is a good idea if your dog goes after squirrels/rabbits etc. He still gets some freedom while you retain control.

He is a mixed terrier – He picks up one or two of his toys or bones, and then walks room to room with them in his mouth. He walks like he has a mission, and doesn’t stop for about 15 minutes. Just wondering why he is doing it – we get a kick out of it!
